The MOU outlines a contractual framework including activities within design, development, delivery, implementation, and sustainment of a turn-key surveillance solution. Terma will act as prime contractor and GomSpace will act as a subcontractor to Terma.
Carsten Drachmann, CEO at GomSpace comments: “I am very excited to enter this MOU with Terma. GomSpace’s strength in building small and efficient satellites for signal intelligence combined with Terma’s heritage and knowledge in both the space ground-segment and with C4ISR systems (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), gives us a strong advantage in offering a well-integrated solution for monitoring and protecting the customer country’s sovereign territory using satellite constellations”.
