The Turkish aerospace and defence industry recorded exports totalling USD 7.154 billion USD in 2024. This marks an increase of USD 1.6 billion USD, or 29%, compared to the previous year.

The export performance significantly exceeded projections, which had anticipated revenues between USD 6.5 billion and USD 6.7 billion USD. The industry now exports its products, including armaments, military equipment, and services, to 180 countries worldwide.

This success is attributed to strong state support, which has fostered international collaboration without imposing substantial political restrictions. Both state-owned and private companies have contributed to the industry’s global achievements.
