Saab has signed a contract with Denmark’s Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation for the supply of Carl-Gustaf M4 weapons, ammunition, and training equipment. The agreement is valued at SEK 510 million, with deliveries scheduled between 2026 and 2028.

The Carl-Gustaf system is a man-portable, reusable recoilless rifle designed for flexibility and modern combat readiness. Denmark, which has used the weapon system since the 1970s under the name Dysekanon, procured the latest M4 version in 2022.

“Carl-Gustaf M4 offers unmatched precision, portability, and a wide range of ammunition options, ensuring that Danish forces are well-equipped to handle diverse and evolving threats. We look forward to continuing our long-standing support for the Danish Armed Forces,” says Görgen Johansson, head of Saab’s business area Dynamics.
