A highlight of the demonstration was a military logistics mission, executed alongside KNDS, showcasing seamless freight transfers between unmanned aerial and ground transport. The Grille successfully carried its payload across several kilometres, pausing briefly for reloading, while the Electronic Warfare Unit (EloKa) conducted jamming tests to evaluate resilience against potential interference.
Avilus also demonstrated its ground control segment (GCS) integration with the BOXER armoured vehicle, enabling remote mission control directly from the field. This integration serves as a mobile, protected hub for coordinating robotic and autonomous systems, including patient evacuation operations.
The collaboration adhered to the principle of “Gemeinsam Stark” (“Together We Are Strong”), with Avilus and the German Army jointly testing RASEVAC assets in tactical-operational scenarios. Soldiers of various ranks were invited to interact with the technology, gaining firsthand experience of its current capabilities.
Reflecting on the company’s progress, CEO Ernst Rittinghaus stated, “I am convinced that we are on the right track and that we must move forward courageously in this direction.” Avilus remains committed to advancing its technologies and strengthening its partnership with the German Armed Forces.
