The contract involves providing subject matter experts to serve as role players, scriptwriters, and exercise control staff. These professionals will assist in the design and delivery of computer-assisted command post exercises, enhancing NATO’s multinational headquarters training capabilities.
Babcock will draw on its extensive experience in supporting collective training for the British Army’s deployable headquarters. The company recently contributed to Exercise CERBERUS 24 in Germany, which involved over 3,000 personnel and 800 vehicles.
“During a period of increased geopolitical instability, high-quality training exercises are central to improving security,” said Jo Rayson, Managing Director for Training at Babcock. “It is a privilege to work alongside the NATO Joint Warfare Centre to develop and deliver their command post exercises. Their mission is our mission.”
In addition to its work with NATO, Babcock provides advanced training solutions for other armed forces. The company supports the French Air Force with a modern training system that combines cutting-edge simulation environments with live, in-air training.
