The agreement was signed on 9 January 2025 in Raufoss, Norway, by Nammo Executive Vice President Vegard Sande and JUNGHANS Defence CEO Dr Kim Eduard Lioe. The partnership combines Nammo’s expertise in ammunition development with JUNGHANS Defence’s advanced fuze technologies to deliver high-performance solutions for air defence and drone countermeasures.
The new 30mm ammunition will leverage advanced proximity fuze technology to improve accuracy and operational efficiency. This innovation addresses the growing demand for cost-effective and reliable defence capabilities against drones and other threats in increasingly complex operational environments.
