The agreement was issued under an Other Transaction Authority framework. It is intended to accelerate development and delivery of advanced interceptor capabilities.

The program aims to address evolving global threats that increasingly place the homeland at risk. It focuses on deploying a constellation of interceptors in low Earth orbit.

These interceptors are designed to operate across multiple engagement phases, including boost, midcourse and glide phases. The system is expected to enhance missile defense coverage and responsiveness.

“Booz Allen is uniquely positioned to field emerging capabilities that drive the critical mission of Golden Dome for America,” said Angela Wallace, executive vice president. “Over the last decade, we have invested in space-based missile defense to deliver advanced technology to the mission at speed.”

“We look forward to our continued partnership with the Department of War to advance the future of homeland defense,” she added. The company highlighted its long-term collaboration with government agencies.

“Booz Allen’s decades of command and control and missile defense experience paired with our advanced software and AI solutions deliver a modern approach to the SBI mission with a performance-first mindset,” said Katie Carr. She emphasized the role of software and artificial intelligence in the program.

Booz Allen has supported space programs for more than 60 years across defense, intelligence and civil sectors. The company is also a provider of artificial intelligence solutions to the federal government.

The Golden Dome initiative reflects efforts to modernize missile defense systems in response to emerging threats. It is intended to strengthen national security through advanced space-based capabilities.
