The contract provides Calian with about CAD$296 million in contracted base revenue over 15 years. It extends one of the company’s largest defence training programmes after the current Project NUMIDIAN contract concludes.

Under NUMIDIAN, Calian has delivered specialised collective training services designed to expose British Army personnel to contemporary operational threats. ACTS will continue that work while adding digital, synthetic and integrated training capabilities.

Collective training brings soldiers, commanders and allied forces together in realistic operational environments before deployment. The approach is designed to strengthen coordination, interoperability and mission effectiveness across participating forces.
Calian will provide specialist collective training services under ACTS as the British Army modernises how it prepares personnel and commanders for future operations. The company said its experience spans collective training, simulation, systems engineering and interoperability.
The agreement also expands Calian’s long-term defence business in the UK and Europe. The company said the work will support allied operational readiness across increasingly complex, multi-domain environments.
