Defenture and L3Harris showcase integrated defence technologies at Everest NL in the Netherlands

By Defence Industry Europe

Dutch military vehicle manufacturer Defenture and defence technology firm L3Harris participated in Everest NL, an event hosted by L3Harris at Experience Island in the Netherlands. The event was designed to showcase technologies and partnerships supporting the modernisation of European armed forces.

Everest NL offered live demonstrations of a tactical communications network and integrated command and control systems, replicating operational scenarios for NATO manoeuvre forces. The event featured various technologies across vehicles, tactical operations centres, and soldier systems, with an emphasis on interoperability and real-world applicability.

Defenture contributed its GRF and Mammoth light tactical vehicles to the demonstrations, each equipped with integrated communication systems from L3Harris. These platforms are part of Defenture’s broader approach to modular vehicle development and system integration.

“The integration displayed at Everest NL reflects our close collaboration with partners and end-users, ensuring our vehicles meet current and future operational demands,” a Defenture spokesperson stated. The company highlighted its focus on open architecture and adaptability to support a range of mission-specific requirements.

Both companies underscored the value of collaboration in delivering effective defence solutions. “Working together, we ensure military and security forces are equipped with systems that enhance operational performance and safety,” Defenture said in a statement.

Everest NL brought together international stakeholders to assess integrated battlefield technologies in action. Attendees observed the implementation of battle management systems, tactical awareness tools, satellite communications, and ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) assets.

The partnership between Defenture and L3Harris was presented as an example of how mobility platforms and communication technologies can be combined to meet evolving defence needs. The event aimed to demonstrate how industry cooperation supports mission readiness and technological innovation within the defence sector.
