In the ongoing modernization of the AWACS program, infodas Cross Domain Solutions, and in particular its NATO SECRET approved Security Gateway Express (SGWX) will be used as a cornerstone of the system security architecture. As part of this contract, infodas will supply not only cross domain solutions, but also work closely for their integration in the complex system architecture. Once the system has been handed over to NATO, infodas then provides comprehensive lifecycle support.

The contract solidifies infodas’ position as trusted partner of the aerospace and defence industry. As part of this collaboration with Boeing, infodas will apply specific expertise and advanced technologies that meet NATO’s stringent requirements. The Cross Domain Solutions from infodas make a significant contribution to the secure exchange of information and data transfer between differently classified security domains in this complex communication network.

“As a former German Air Force officer who served on SHAPE at the former AWACS headquarters, it is a great pleasure for me to have been selected by Boeing. I am proud that infodas can contribute to strengthening this critical NATO core capability with its NATO SECRET approved cross domain solutions,” sais Thorsten Ecke, Managing Director at infodas. “Our team is highly motivated and committed. We are doing everything we can to deliver our market-ready and state-of-the-art solutions to NAPMA in a more than timely manner. It goes without saying that we fully comply with the strict cyber & IT security requirements out of the box. This is an integral part of our product.
