Israel conducted a precision attack on Hezbollah’s airport in Syria

Israel continues its efforts to disrupt the Iranian effort to build production sites for its armed UAVs in Syria.

According to the Syrian Ministry of Defense, Israel has conducted airstrikes on outposts in the Homs region of Syria, inflicting at least five casualties on the military

According to Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency, the strikes early on Sunday were the third in recent days, including an attack on Friday that killed two military advisers with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

According to Iranian news outlets at around 00:35 (21:35 GMT on Saturday), Israel started “an aerial aggression from the direction of northwest Beirut, targeting various outposts in Homs city and its countryside.” This was reported by state media. Some of the missiles were shot down by Syrian air defenses.

Israeli spy satellites took images of the target in Syra. According to an intelligence assessment made by Israeli company Imagesat International (ISI) the alleged Israeli attack targeted the Hezbollah airport in Aldaba, Syria

“It is evident that the aim of the attack was to damage Hezbollah’s drone capabilities”.
