The transaction builds on the two companies’ existing activities, markets and industrial partnerships. GDI Simulation said their complementary technologies, expertise and geographic presence would reinforce the combined group’s position in defence simulation.
The industrial plan is aimed at creating a leading provider of simulation systems for military studies, experimentation and training. Its customers will include land, air, space and naval forces, alongside defence companies that integrate wider systems and solutions.

The enlarged portfolio will extend from synthetic-environment generation to the development, production and support of experimentation and training systems. It will cover both live and virtual training requirements across different segments of the defence industry.
Agenium’s AI expertise adds a new technology layer to GDI Simulation’s existing simulation portfolio. The company plans to use those capabilities across its wider product range as it expands services for armed forces and industrial customers.
