Through this 7-year framework contract awarded to Gentex Corporation, the Agency procured NSPA Variant B helmet (Ops-Core FAST RF1) and NSPA Variant C helmet (Ops-Core FAST XP). Additionally, Gentex shipped Ops-Core AMP Communication Headsets, STEP-IN Visors, and Special Operations Tactical Respirator products (SOTR) due to the comprehensive range of Ops-Core accessories and spare parts.
“NSPA enabled Nations to receive the consolidated requirements for highly sophisticated soldier equipment. This contract is the ideal illustration of NSPA’s added value to both Nations and Industry, as the Agency brought technical requirements and technology together, via the NATO Logistics Stock Exchange, for Nations to be able to purchase the required equipment on an online platform,” said Celine Danielli, NSPA Programme Manager.
“The agreement between NSPA and Gentex gives all NATO member nations and partner Nations as Sweden, Austria and Ukraine, the ability to fully equip their soldiers and operators utilizing Ops-Core’s unique complete helmet solutions in a streamlined and efficient manner. Offering the FAST RF1 and FAST XP helmet systems together with the AMP communications system, respiratory and eye protection and the full range to spares support these products makes it very straightforward for member countries to offer the best headborne solutions to their troops on deployment,” emphasized Jim Clarke, Sales Director of Ground Systems, Gentex Europe.
