QinetiQ US has been awarded a USD 31.5 million task order to support the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office (PEO) for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors (IEW&S). The five-year contract will focus on advancing the Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA) program, designed to enable seamless data sharing across battlefield sensor networks.

This task order continues QinetiQ US’s longstanding collaboration with the U.S. Army, which began in 2016, in developing distributed sensor data capabilities. The ISA program is a cornerstone initiative, aimed at improving the Army’s ability to collect, disseminate, and integrate sensor data to enhance battlefield command and control.

Jonathan Riksen, Executive Vice President and General Manager of QinetiQ US’ National & Global Security Solutions, emphasised the importance of this partnership. “Our work with the Army C5ISR Center and PEO IEW&S has been critical in building sensor interoperability solutions. We are excited to continue supporting the ISA program’s development and sustainment to strengthen battlefield operations.”

Under the new contract, QinetiQ US will collaborate with Army PEOs, other defence organisations, and Allied partners to refine the ISA’s capabilities. The focus will include enhancing sensor management, data reduction, collection management, and intelligent data processing within a networked environment.

This project underscores QinetiQ US’s role as a key contributor to modernising the Army’s sensor technologies and computing frameworks. By leveraging its expertise in sensor integration and data management, the company aims to support the future of military operations and ensure interoperability across diverse battlefield systems.
