Representatives from Ukraine, the Netherlands, Denmark, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada attended the meeting. The coalition’s secretariat and working groups reviewed progress, current requirements and the next stages of capability development.
Participants also met Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Sergiy Boyev and a working group led by Lieutenant General Anatolii Kryvonozhko, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The talks focused on matching international assistance with Ukraine’s current and future aviation needs.
The coalition’s priorities include developing aviation infrastructure, training personnel and sustaining capabilities already in service. They also cover building helicopter capacity and expanding defence-industrial and military-technical cooperation.
Participants discussed establishing an Air Force Capability Coalition Fund to improve coordination between supporting countries. The proposed mechanism would also help secure financing for projects requiring faster implementation.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine thanked participating countries for their continued support and joint work on Ukraine’s air capabilities. The meeting formed part of the coalition’s wider effort to shape the development of Ukraine’s air force.
