Senop Oy has signed a framework agreement with the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command for the implementation of Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU) of Senop LISA target acquisition systems. The framework agreement covers years 2023–2025. The framework agreement includes updates for laser rangefinders, thermal camera modules and software. The agreement was signed in December 2022.

Senop LISA is a versatile target acquisition and observation device for day- and night-time use. The device features a direct-view channel for daytime use, an uncooled thermal imager, a laser rangefinder, a digital magnetic compass, a CCD camera, and GPS. Senop LISA has been in operational use with the Finnish Defence Forces since 2015.

“We design and develop our devices as modular as possible. Modularity enables us to support our customers by updating new efficient components, subsystems and software during the whole life cycle of the device. That is a cost-effective way to increase the performance and operational life cycle of the system,” says Aki Korhonen, Managing Director of Senop.

“This framework agreement shows our ability to maintain the performance of our devices in accordance with the operating environment and guarantee the long life cycles of our systems,” Korhonen emphasizes.
