Saab’s fighter jet is a highlight at CRUZEX 2024, the largest multinational operational training exercise in Latin America, organised by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB).
The Brazilian Gripen E aircraft with registration FAB 4100, dedicated to tests in Brazil, took part in a flight test campaign in Anápolis (GO) to assess the Infrared Search and Track (IRST).

Saab and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) have entered into an agreement regarding new functionality and adjusted delivery schedules for Gripen E and Gripen C/D.
Saab offers 114 Gripen E aircraft to the Indian Air Force. The Swedish company also proposes deep cooperation with local industry.
Saab and Embraer have today inaugurated the production line for Gripen E in Brazil, at Embraer´s plant in Gavião Peixoto (São Paulo State).
