Weibel Scientific secures contract with U.S. Department of Energy for advanced radar systems

Weibel Scientific, a leader in advanced radar technology, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to supply two of its MFTR-2100/42-2160 Medium Range Radars. These high-power tracking radar systems have been chosen by Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) to enhance their instrumental testing capabilities.

 

This selection by Sandia National Laboratories marks a significant milestone in the ongoing partnership between Weibel Scientific and the Department of Energy. The collaboration has been instrumental in equipping U.S. testing ranges with cutting-edge radar technology, essential for precise and reliable data collection in various defence and research applications.
