The U.S. military presence at the Paris Air Show provides an opportunity for the United States to demonstrate its leadership in aerospace technologies while supporting various armament procurement exhibitions. U.S. participation also highlights how the American presence in Europe strengthens alliances that fuel jobs, trade, and investment in the United States.
USAFE-AFAFRICA aircraft scheduled to participate include the F-15E Strike Eagle and F-35A Lightning II from the 48th Fighter Wing, RAF Lakenheath, England. Other U.S. Air Force aircraft attending from bases across the United States include the KC-46A Pegasus, C-17 Globemaster III, C-130J Super Hercules, and MQ-9 Reaper.
The U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II demonstration team is also scheduled to perform an aerial demonstration during the trade show and on public days.
