EURENCO and MESKO (PGZ Group) have signed a long-term contract for the supply of high-performance energetic nitrocellulose, produced at EURENCO’s Bergerac facility in France. The agreement builds on the companies’ previous cooperation on artillery programmes and highlights their expanding strategic partnership.

By securing this supply, MESKO ensures a reliable and independent European source of energetic materials. The contract will support MESKO’s production of critical special munitions and reinforce national and European defence capabilities.

The cooperation also aligns with Poland’s Autonomy strategy, designed to strengthen the national defence industrial base and secure critical supply chains. It supports MESKO’s ambition to position itself as a global manufacturer of advanced armaments industry products.

Thierry Francou, CEO of EURENCO, said: “By strengthening our partnership with MESKO, we are not just delivering a strategic raw material – we are securing the safe and sustained ramp-up of Poland’s industrial capacities. This long-term cooperation anchors a robust and sovereign supply chain, ready to meet the accelerating demand for munitions in Poland and across Europe. It is a decisive step towards reinforcing our shared strategic autonomy and the resilience of the European defense industry”.

Renata Gruszczyńska, Chairman of the Board of MESKO S.A. said: “Our cooperation with EURENCO in the area of the transfer of critical ammunition manufacturing components is one of many ways in which we build resilience against supply chain disruptions, which has a vital importance for our Company’s development, as well as for increasing the autonomy of the Polish defence industry. Through the cooperation with our French partner, we will guarantee that the Polish Armed Forces, as well as the armies of our NATO and EU allies, have a continuous access to the best solutions for strengthening of our shared security in the international environment. MESKO has been actively pursuing the conclusion of such an agreement for years, seeking guarantees and supply security – an objective that has now been successfully achieved”.
