Aselsan participated in EFES 2026 with its most advanced technologies and systems, including equipment actively used during exercise scenarios. The exercise, coordinated by the Turkish Armed Forces, was accompanied by a defence industry display organised under the coordination of Türkiye’s Presidency of Defense Industries.

The company said EFES 2026, regarded as one of the world’s most important military exercises, attracted significant international attention. Aselsan’s systems were examined by foreign military delegations and industry representatives during the multinational event.

Aselsan displayed next-generation defence systems at its booth while also demonstrating products used by the Turkish Armed Forces in field scenarios. The company said the performance of these systems in conditions reflecting real operations showed their operational reliability and field effectiveness.
During the exercise, Aselsan systems operated across air defence, electronic warfare, communications, electro-optics and command-and-control domains. The company said more than 30 of its systems took part in the exercise.

The KOCATEPE Battlefield Management System was used for the first time during EFES 2026. Aselsan said KOCATEPE provided commanders and command post personnel with a comprehensive operational picture at every level of the battlefield.

Other systems used during the exercise included the ACAR UAV Detection Radar, MİLKED Land-Based Electronic Support System, Modernised Towed Artillery System, KALKAN Air Defense Radar and SERHAT Mortar Detection Radar. The ASELPOD Electro-Optical Targeting Pod, İHTAR Counter-UAV System, and SİPER and HİSAR air defence systems also took part.

Aselsan said SİPER and HİSAR are among the critical components of the STEEL DOME architecture. The company also used ARTSoft MAESTRO, a highly secure messaging, file transfer and live video communication software designed to resist electronic warfare.

The KORKUT-35 Low Altitude Air Defense System was one of the most notable indigenous systems in the exercise, according to Aselsan. The company said KORKUT-35 used airburst ammunition and provided effective day-and-night defence against modern aerial threats, including UAVs and missiles.
At its exhibition stand, Aselsan presented systems including the KORKUT-25 Air Defense System, KILIÇ autonomous underwater vehicles, electro-optical systems and components of the STEEL DOME architecture.

The company said its display drew attention from visitors and military delegations. President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan observed the exercise with high-level delegations and international observers. He also visited the Aselsan stand and received information about the systems and products demonstrated during EFES 2026.

Aselsan said its field-proven solutions stood out as examples of the Turkish defence industry’s growing position in global competition. The company said the systems’ durability, rapid response capability and integrated mission performance address the needs of the modern battlefield.
