Following an extensive two-year evaluation and validation process by FMV, the contract gives all Swedish Defense agencies access to the AqLab and AqModel modelling framework to enable capability development in the area of machine learning decision support for enhanced combat aircraft survivability.
Mikael Grev, Founder and CEO of Avioniq, said: “This acquisition by FMV validates the accuracy of our technologies, and is a critical first step toward our goal of providing a software-based modelling framework solution for governments, Air Forces and agencies looking to improve the efficiency of their modelling supply chain for training and operational beyond visual range (BVR) air combat applications.
“We are pleased to continue supporting FMV in exploring how our cutting-edge modelling framework can enable innovative change across its enterprise.”
Founded in 2015 by experienced Gripen pilots, computer engineers and doctors in sensor fusion and behavioural science, Avioniq is an innovator in software development for aircraft in the military aviation arena.
