The SDoT Security Gateway plays a crucial role in improving FRONTEX’s operational speed by enabling the secure and rapid exchange of information. This advancement helps the agency enhance its decision-making processes and operational efficiency.
Thorsten Ecke, Managing Director of INFODAS, emphasised the significance of this project: “The collaboration with FRONTEX exemplifies our commitment to delivering innovative, flexible, and reliable solutions. It’s an important milestone for INFODAS, demonstrating our ability to support major European organisations in safeguarding mission-critical assets during their digital transformation.”
The project, which began in 2022, showcases the combined strengths of Airbus Protect and INFODAS in delivering advanced cyber security solutions. The deployment of INFODAS’ Cross Domain Solutions, including the SDoT Security Gateway, strengthens FRONTEX’s data exchange architecture and ensures robust protection against evolving cyber threats.
One key feature of the SDoT Security Gateway is its ability to securely transfer both structured and unstructured data across different security domains while meeting strict security standards, including approval for handling information classified up to the EU SECRET level. This system will not only bolster the cyber security of FRONTEX but also contribute to improving the agency’s overall cyber resilience.
By integrating INFODAS’ state-of-the-art technology into its IT infrastructure, FRONTEX is better equipped to protect sensitive data and respond to the challenges posed by modern cyber threats, ensuring the security of its operations across Europe.
