infodas received order to supply and integrate the SDoT Security Gateway Express solution into an airspace surveillance system in Germany.

As a leading company in the field of cybersecurity solutions, INFODAS GmbH is involved in numerous strategic modernization projects of the Bundeswehr. The Cross Domain Solutions from infodas integrated in the HADR NF (Hughes Air Defence Radar Successor System) systems also ensure secure domain transitions.

In 2021, HENSOLDT, together with ELTA Systems Ltd., was commissioned by the Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) to supply and install four large-capacity radars for airspace surveillance – infodas acts as a subcontractor of HENSOLDT within the scope of the order and supplies the SDoT Security Gateway Express, which is approved to GEHEIM, NATO and EU SECRET, in this project.

This product was developed specifically for high-speed, low-latency structured data filtering scenarios and is therefore ideally suited for use in modern airspace surveillance systems. The SDoT Security Gateway Express enables secure data exchange between different security domains in real time and guarantees security in a sensor network.

The threat to Europe from ballistic missiles and other stand-off weapons remains high, which is why various cooperative approaches are being pursued to establish, expand and modernize air defence capabilities at national, European and NATO levels. The HADR NF project is a building block in the modernization of military airspace surveillance and contributes to the development of Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) capabilities.

“The HADR NF programme is a component of the Bundeswehr’s refocusing on national and alliance defence. We are proud to be part of this strategically important project with our SDoT Security Gateway Express. We are delighted that our technological solutions will once again make a decisive contribution to European air defence,” says Thorsten Ecke, Managing Director of infodas.
