Infodas GmbH is involved in numerous strategic defence programs as a leading company in the field of cybersecurity solutions. Its Cross Domain Solutions ensure also secure domain transition in the Diehl Defence systems IRIS-T SLM (Infra Red Imaging System Tail Surface Launched Medium Range).

In June 2023, Diehl Defence has been commissioned by the Bundeswehr to deliver six systems – the delivery of the first system is already scheduled for the upcoming year (2024). Infodas acts here as a subcontractor for the delivery of the SDoT Security Gateway COMP-LAND.

This product meets the specific requirements of mobile Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) systems. This more compact and extremely robust Cross Domain Solution was developed, among other things, for use at the tactical level in extreme climatic conditions, including at vehicle level. Humidity, heat, dust or vibration no longer stand in the way of digital data exchange between normally compartmentalized systems of different classification levels. COMP-LAND enables secure real-time data exchange between different security domains and guarantees security between sensors and effectors.

“We are proud to be part of this strategic program with our SDoT products. We are thrilled to participate to the German and European air defence, and to support Ukraine,” says Thorsten Ecke, CEO at Infodas.

IRIS-T SLM is a crucial component in closing the capability gap in the Bundeswehr’s ground-based air defence. The system contributes overall to strengthening Germany’s national and alliance defence. IRIS-T SLM can engage various aerial threats, such as fighter jets, drones and cruise missiles at a range of up to 40 kilometers and an altitude of 20 kilometers. The system has already demonstrated its high operational capability in the context of its deployment in Ukraine.
