Micropol Fiberoptic establishes subsidiary in the UK

Swedish company Micropol Fiberoptic has announced the opening of a new subsidiary in England, marking its third international office. This move, scheduled for spring 2024, aims to enhance the company's presence in the UK, especially within the defence and security sectors, which have seen increased investment from the UK government, Micropol Fiberoptic said in press release.


The company welcomed David Aspray as the inaugural employee of Micropol Fiberoptic Ltd., appointing him as Regional Sales Manager. Aspray, who has a rich background in the communication industry with experience at companies like Senko, Ascom, and Ericsson, also brings firsthand knowledge from his time as a communication technician in the UK Armed Forces.



Micropol Fiberoptic, that was founded by Gerd and Anders Andersson in 1988, is head quartered in Åled outside Halmstad, Sweden, and employs 43 professionals. International sales offices are located in Stuttgart, Germany and in Edgewater outside Washington, USA. The company turnover was 100 MSEK in 2023 out of which 30% was delivered to markets outside Sweden. AB Micropol Fiberoptic is part of Halmstad based Pamica Group AB.
