MilDef secures new contract with Swedish Armed Forces for IT and C2 systems

MilDef has announced a new contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to provide IT equipment and integration services in Command and Control (C2) Systems for the Swedish Armed Forces. The contract, valued at SEK 63 million, will see deliveries commence immediately, further supporting Sweden’s defence modernisation efforts.

 

FMV is responsible for procuring, developing, and delivering equipment and services to the Swedish Armed Forces, and has partnered with MilDef since 1997 for tactical and rugged IT solutions. Under this new agreement, MilDef will supply products and integration services essential to the Swedish Armed Forces’ C2 System, reinforcing the nation’s defence capabilities across multiple domains.

Daniel Ljunggren, President and CEO of MilDef, highlighted the company’s commitment to digitalising defence operations across maritime, land, and air platforms. He noted that this latest order reflects a growing demand for enhanced defence capabilities from Sweden and other Nordic customers, indicating an acceleration in volume orders within the region.
