Sisu Auto, a renowned Finnish manufacturer of trucks, special vehicles, and military vehicles designed to meet demanding transportation needs both domestically and internationally. Over the years, the company has also supplied numerous vehicles to the Finnish Defence Forces.
With decades of experience maintaining SISU vehicles for the Finnish Defence Forces, Millog’s collaboration with Sisu Auto will now grow even closer as Millog joins the authorized service partner network.
This enhanced cooperation will enable Millog to provide even better maintenance services for Sisu Auto’s products. As part of the service network, Millog gains access to the latest product information, as well as the manufacturer’s technical support and regular training, ensuring that staff stays up-to-date with the latest developments.
Military and special vehicle production has long been central to Sisu Auto’s business, but recent changes in Europe’s security situation have further increased demand. For instance, the Finnish and Swedish Defence Forces have signed a long-term framework agreement with Sisu Auto to procure tactical SISU GTP 4×4 off-road vehicles. Defence forces from other partner countries also have the opportunity to join the agreement.
Henry Cusell, Sisu Auto’s After-Sales Manager, points out that military vehicles have a long life cycle, and it is therefore essential that the service partner’s operations are also well established and reliable.
“It is crucial for us to have a skilled and long-term partner in place to support the Finnish Defence Forces and our other government customers. Millog is a valued partner of the Finnish Defence Forces and them joining our service network is a natural continuation of our cooperation,” Cusell comments.
Toni Piispa, Director of Millog’s Authorities and Industry division, thanks Sisu Auto for their trust and good cooperation.
“The authorised service partnership further strengthens our effective cooperation with Sisu Auto, and, above all, enhances our ability to serve our strategic partner, the Finnish Defence Forces. Through this partnership, we have also a mandate to serve Sisu Auto’s other defence and government customers, and a possibility for international cooperation. This is an exciting opportunity for us” he says.
