Key highlights of the year include a record-high order reserve of NOK 25.4 billion (EUR 2.2 billion), reflecting the strong demand for Nammo’s products amid global defense needs. The company attributed this growth to its strategic initiatives and robust market position, despite the challenging geopolitical environment. Notably, Nammo secured major contracts, including the largest ever artillery order from Norway, and expanded its production capacity through significant investments in machinery and infrastructure across multiple countries.
CEO Morten Brandtzæg emphasized Nammo’s resilience and strategic focus, stating, “Nammo’s performance during the year underscores our key role in the defense sector and demonstrated our resilience in the face of geopolitical tensions and rapidly increasing demand. We invested heavily to expand capacity, strengthen our organization, and uphold our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality products to our customers, and we will continue to do so ahead.”
In terms of organizational achievements, Nammo celebrated its 25th anniversary, increased its female workforce to 27.6%, and saw a decline in sick leave to 4.3%. The company also bolstered its presence in Denmark to enhance Nordic defense industrial collaboration.
Looking forward, Nammo is well-positioned for continued growth, supported by a strong order book and ongoing strategic investments. The company remains dedicated to delivering excellence and innovation in defense and aerospace solutions, contributing to global security and stability.
