Polish defence company WB Group has signed a significant contract with South Korea's Defence Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) to supply WARMATE 3 loitering munitions.

The agreement, signed on 2nd October during the KADEX exhibition held at the South Korean military headquarters in Gyeryongdae, marks WB Group as the first Polish company to deliver military equipment to the South Korean Armed Forces.

The contract includes the delivery of 10 sets, consisting of nearly 200 WARMATE 3 systems in both combat and training variants, intended for the South Korean Army.

The deal was formalised by WB Group’s President Piotr Wojciechowski and DAPA Director General Jae Joon Chung, with officials from the Polish and South Korean defence ministries present.

The WARMATE 3 system, developed in Poland, is a lightweight, combat-proven loitering munition, capable of operating in swarms and formations. It has been tested in high-intensity conflict conditions and is currently used by the Polish Armed Forces and other NATO allies.

The WARMATE 3 is praised for its long endurance, ability to carry various types of warheads, and effectiveness in challenging electronic warfare environments.
