The Bi-NYX goggles are designed for vehicle driving and will enhance the capabilities of French forces, complementing the 12,960 O-NYX goggles already in service for dismounted soldiers. Thales’s manufacturing site at Saint-Héand can produce over 250 units per month, demonstrating the company’s ability to meet the high-volume production needs of the French military.
The Bi-NYX model builds on the Nellie solution and offers high-resolution stereoscopic vision with a 47-degree field of view in a lightweight design. Thales developed these advanced night vision goggles through a self-funded project, further solidifying its role as a key supplier of cutting-edge military technology to the French Army.
