More than 300 applications have been submitted for registration on TrophyLab, Ukraine’s Unified Web Portal for the Study of Enemy Equipment, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine said. Nearly 200 of those applications came from foreign defence companies based in partner countries.

The portal provides access to a catalogue of drawings, technical data and analytical findings on Russian weapons. Ukrainian arms manufacturers and military units have also expressed interest in using the system.

The TrophyLab database is maintained with contributions from units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and specialised research institutions. The Ministry said the platform is intended to make data on captured Russian weapons available to engineers, researchers and defence technology manufacturers in Ukraine and partner countries.

Registered researchers may request samples or fragments of captured weapons for independent study. The aim is to support the rapid development of effective countermeasures against Russian systems.

The Ministry said all applicants are screened during registration before access is granted. Checks are intended to confirm that applicants have no ties to Russia, are not subject to Ukrainian or international sanctions and meet other mandatory eligibility requirements.

TrophyLab is designed to allow registered researchers to exchange information on Russian weapons quickly, transparently and securely. Ukraine said this process can accelerate countermeasure development and strengthen the ability of the Defence Forces to protect the country’s skies and stop Russian forces on the ground.

The Ministry said the portal also contributes to international security by sharing lessons from captured Russian equipment with partner countries. It added that the system can help strengthen the defence capabilities of those partners as they study the same threats faced by Ukraine.
