The AMSTA system is built around a network of intelligent seismic and image sensors, capable of detecting intrusions by people, vehicles, and even low-flying helicopters. Using cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, AMSTA can efficiently monitor vast areas, making it suitable for protecting key sites such as borders, power plants, airports, and refineries.
This recent contract signifies growing international interest in the Polish-developed system, with the first components expected to be delivered by the end of 2024. Paweł Poncyljusz, President of MindMade, expressed his satisfaction with the agreement, highlighting the system’s proven performance during field tests in the client’s country. “This contract confirms the advancement, quality, and competitiveness of solutions developed by Polish engineers. The AMSTA system demonstrated its ability to provide perimeter protection in extremely difficult terrain,” said Poncyljusz.
AMSTA’s strength lies in its distributed intelligence architecture, meaning each sensor operates independently, ensuring continued functionality even in the event of isolated failures. The system is also highly adaptable, available in both stationary and mobile configurations, with sensors that can be either wired or wireless, depending on the local terrain and specific needs of the user.
One of the key features of the AMSTA system is its ability to reduce false alarms by using AI algorithms to differentiate between human, vehicle, and animal movements. Its highly sensitive sensors can even detect low-flying drones or helicopters, enhancing situational awareness. The data gathered from the system’s sensors is transmitted to a central management centre, where it is processed and visualised on a digital map. Operators receive real-time messages, warnings, videos, and photos to ensure a rapid and informed response to potential threats.
