At the centre of the partnership is MDSI’s MAILMAN payload carrier, which is designed for precision delivery in challenging electronic warfare conditions. MAILMAN will be incorporated into Armadrone’s UAV platforms, including the PUNISHER and REX models, allowing for tactical payload deployment over distances of up to 60 kilometres.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to providing advanced, scalable solutions to meet evolving defence requirements. Armadrone and MDSI aim to address the growing demand for reliable technologies that enhance operational efficiency and minimise risks to personnel in combat scenarios.
Max Subotin, Chief Business Development Officer of Armadrone, described the partnership as a step forward in drone innovation. “By collaborating with MDSI and maintaining direct communication with active military units, we aim to create practical solutions that address real-world battlefield challenges,” he said.
Christian Steinø, CEO of MDSI, emphasised the importance of adaptability and affordability in the new system. “Integrating MAILMAN with Armadrone’s UAV platforms marks a significant milestone in our collaboration with Ukrainian partners. This solution is designed to enhance mission readiness and scalability while maintaining cost-effectiveness,” he stated.
