AKINCI took off from the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ before flying to the Black Sea test area. During the firing conducted off Sinop, the UAV-300 achieved a direct hit on the maritime target before the aircraft returned to Çorlu along its planned route.
The test follows the earlier integration of Roketsan’s UAV-122 and UAV-230 supersonic missiles with AKINCI. Baykar said the addition of UAV-300 further strengthens the aircraft’s long-range, high-impact strike capability.
AKINCI is designed to employ a broad range of weapons against both ground and air targets, allowing different munitions to be selected according to mission requirements. Baykar said the expanding weapons portfolio gives the aircraft a layered operational and strike capability spanning close-range and long-range engagements.
Munitions already integrated with AKINCI include MAM-L, MAM-L TV, MAM-T, MAM-T IIR/TV, MAM-C, the TOLUN family, TEBER-81, TEBER-82, LAÇİN, LGK-81, LGK-82 and HGK-82. The platform has also integrated the GÖKÇE and GÖZDE guidance kits, KGK-82-UCAV, UAV-230, TV-seeker and laser-seeker variants of UAV-122, the ÇAKIR cruise missile and the EREN high-speed multi-purpose loitering munition.
Baykar said the combination of different ranges, guidance systems and warhead options enables AKINCI to engage a wide variety of targets across different distances. The UAV-300 test represents the latest step in the company’s continuing munitions integration programme for the aircraft.
Baykar said it remained the world’s largest exporter in the unmanned aerial vehicle segment in 2025 and recorded exports worth $2.2 billion during the year. The company said exports have accounted for 90% of its revenue in recent years and that it has maintained leadership in the global UCAV market for the past three years.
Baykar ranked among Türkiye’s 10 largest exporters across all sectors in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and was the country’s defence and aerospace export leader in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. The company said it accounted for one third of the sector’s exports in 2023 and one quarter in 2024.
Baykar has signed export agreements with 39 countries across its unmanned aircraft portfolio. Those agreements include 36 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 and 16 countries for AKINCI.
