The uncrewed MQ-28 Ghost Bat collaborative combat aircraft will make its Farnborough debut on static display. Boeing said the aircraft is designed to support crewed platforms in roles including surveillance, electronic warfare and force multiplication.
“Every day is an opportunity to continue building trust as we focus on safety, quality and on-time performance,” said Kelly Ortberg, Boeing president and chief executive officer. “At Farnborough, we look forward to reconnecting with our customers and suppliers, and strengthening our international partnerships — including Boeing’s more than 85 year commitment to the United Kingdom — built upon the full range of our commercial, defense and services capabilities.”
Inside Boeing’s exhibit, visitors will be able to view interactive product and technology displays. These will include a full-size 777X cabin section showing the aircraft’s wider cabin and more spacious interior architecture.
Boeing will also feature a T-7 flight deck simulator, giving visitors a hands-on look at the trainer aircraft’s performance and capabilities. A second T-7 simulator will be available for media visits at BAE’s pavilion in Hall 5.
The company’s defense presence at Farnborough will include a U.S. Army CH-47F Chinook and a UK Joint Aviation Command CH-47 Chinook. Boeing said the displays reflect the breadth of its commercial, defense and services capabilities.
Boeing will also highlight services for government and commercial customers, including parts, modifications, cabin products, digital services and training solutions. The exhibit will feature the Boeing Cascade Climate Impact Model, a data-modelling and visualisation tool designed to evaluate pathways for making aviation more sustainable as the industry grows.
The company said its Farnborough programme is intended to reaffirm its commitment to customers, collaboration and the future of aerospace. The airshow will give Boeing a platform to present the MQ-28 Ghost Bat, the 777X cabin exhibit, Chinook helicopters, T-7 training technology and its wider services portfolio.
