Croatia Signs USD 274 Million Contract for Black Hawk Helicopters

By Defence Industry Europe

Croatia has signed an intergovernmental agreement (Letter of Acceptance) with the United States for eight UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters.

Eight new UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters are expected to be delivered to the Croatian Armed Forces by 2028, according to the ministry. The agreement, as stated by the Croatian Ministry of Defence, is valued at USD 274 million.

Washington will fund 51 percent of this amount as compensation for military aid that Croatia has transferred to Ukraine. Croatian support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine included, among other things, Mi-17 helicopters.
