The Advans INS is based on cutting-edge Fibre-Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology, providing accurate orientation and location data even in environments where GNSS signals are unavailable. Designed to withstand spoofing and jamming, the system ensures continuous and reliable support for mission-critical operations.
VTU expressed confidence in the collaboration, stating: “We are pleased to work with Exail to enhance the capabilities of the Czech land defense forces. The Advans Series INS meets our need for a highly reliable, precise system that will enable the Czech forces to operate effectively in the most demanding environments.”
Jean-Baptiste Fruchart, Regional Sales Manager at Exail, welcomed the agreement, saying: “We are proud to partner with VTU in supporting the Czech army with our advanced navigation technology. We greatly appreciate the spirit of collaboration between VTU and Exail and the trust they showed us.”
Exail’s Advans Series is currently deployed by over 20 land defence forces and supports a variety of platforms, including combat vehicles, radars, optronic turrets and air defence systems. This contract marks a further step in Exail’s expansion across European land defence sectors, following recent achievements in Northern Europe, Spain, France, and the UK.
