Under the contract, Elbit Systems will provide its ReDrone modular C-UAS solution. This system integrates advanced technologies such as the DAiR radar, SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) sensors, Electronic Warfare (EW) countermeasures, and Electro-Optical (EO) day/night payloads to deliver a comprehensive aerial threat management system.
The ReDrone system’s modular design allows it to detect, identify, locate, track, and neutralise hostile drones under various conditions. It supports both stationary and mobile configurations, enabling deployment on vehicles for enhanced operational flexibility in urban and rural environments, day or night.
Equipped with advanced C4I (Command and Control) capabilities, the solution ensures robust mission management and effective coordination of defence operations. It is designed to counter multiple drones simultaneously across different communication channels, safeguarding critical areas against evolving aerial threats.
Oren Sabag, General Manager of Elbit Systems ISTAR & EW, highlighted the system’s proven effectiveness. “This contract, coming amid the rising threat of unmanned aerial systems, follows a series of contracts awarded to us in the CUAS field. We are proud that another NATO member country has chosen our solution, further demonstrating the robustness of our system,” he stated.
