The JNDFC will incorporate Elbit’s advanced multi-domain digital fires warfare capabilities, enhancing command and control over a range of firepower assets. The system will include the company’s C4ISR Digital Fires Suite, featuring Torch-X Fires software, E-LynX Software Defined Radios (SDR), and the GRX-8000 high-capacity microwave communication system.
As part of the agreement, Elbit will also digitise an artillery battalion and fully integrate it into the new command centre. This integration aims to enhance operational efficiency by streamlining fire processes, incorporating real-time intelligence, and significantly improving the Sensor-to-Shooter cycle.
The command centre will provide real-time command and control over various artillery platforms, including howitzers, rockets, mortars, and precision-guided munitions. It will also integrate UAVs, drones, radars, and forward observer sensors to enhance situational awareness and battlefield coordination.
Haim Delmar, General Manager of Elbit Systems C4I & Cyber, stated that modern warfare requires advanced digital solutions to optimise firepower effectiveness. He emphasised that the contract reaffirms the customer’s trust in Elbit’s multi-domain digital warfare expertise and its ability to enhance operational performance through full digitisation.
