Danish company MyDefence A/S has secured the largest order in its history, receiving a $26 million contract from the U.S. Army for Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) solutions. Announced on 30 June 2025, the agreement reinforces the U.S. Army’s commitment to strengthening defence capabilities against drone threats.

Under the terms of the contract, MyDefence will deliver advanced technologies designed to detect and track a wide range of unmanned aerial systems. These solutions will be integrated into U.S. Army operations to improve force protection and tactical readiness.

“This historic contract represents a defining moment for MyDefence and a strong endorsement of our position in the global C-UAS industry,” said Dan Hermansen, CEO of MyDefence Group. “We are honoured to have been selected by the U.S. Army as supplier for C-UAS procurement – an endorsement of the trust placed in our team, our mission, and our ability to deliver battle-proven technology at scale.”

Hermansen also highlighted the company’s growing commitment to the U.S. market, noting increased investments and expanded recruitment efforts. MyDefence plans to create new jobs across multiple roles to support delivery of the contract.

William Ostrowski, President and CEO of MyDefence North America, called the deal “a strategic milestone for our North American operations”. He underlined the company’s dedication to long-term collaboration with U.S. defence stakeholders and the delivery of adaptable, high-performance systems.

“The growing use of unmanned aerial systems presents a persistent threat across operational environments,” Ostrowski stated. “Following extensive testing and evaluation, MyDefence’s systems proved reliable, adaptable, and mission-ready.”

MyDefence is known for its modular and scalable C-UAS technologies, tailored for complex radio-frequency environments. Its systems are currently in use by armed forces and security agencies worldwide, offering proactive defence across a variety of mission requirements.
