Israel Aerospace Industries brought the fourth cohort of its CATALYST innovation program to the New York Stock Exchange, showcasing technologies developed by startups across defense, aerospace and dual-use markets. The event also highlighted IAI’s collaboration with the U.S. defense industry and its effort to connect emerging technology companies with investors, government stakeholders and established industrial partners.

The Innovation Showcase marked the conclusion of the latest CATALYST accelerator cycle, with participating companies presenting technologies developed through the program. IAI said the initiative is designed to move promising technologies closer to practical applications by combining startup development with its engineering expertise and operational experience.

The technologies presented covered next-generation artificial intelligence, robotics and drones, advanced sensors, autonomy and communications. The cohort also included work in quantum technologies, space systems, advanced materials and manufacturing, propulsion, energy sources and systems for processing data.

“Innovation has always been at the heart of IAI, and we believe that advancing the next generation of technologies requires close collaboration between established industry leaders and startups,” said IAI Chairman of the Board Boaz Levy. “The CATALYST program reflects our commitment to fostering that collaboration by connecting visionary entrepreneurs with the expertise, capabilities and real-world experience of IAI.”

“Through these partnerships, we are helping transform promising technologies into practical solutions that address real-world challenges while reinforcing Israel’s position as a global innovation leader,” Levy said. The New York event also included executive presentations, panel discussions and networking intended to support new commercial relationships among startups, investors, government representatives and industry executives.

“IAI’s Innovation Center is a hub of technological excellence that is constantly evolving,” said Guy Bar-lev, IAI’s Acting CEO. “Tackling tomorrow’s challenges requires forward-thinking and preserving technological independence.”

“To that end, we are fostering collaborations with partners in Israel and around the globe to lead the defense, aviation, and space sectors for decades to come,” Bar-lev said. “The center’s uniqueness lies in a dynamic model that provides entrepreneurs with close technological and engineering guidance from experienced teams within IAI.”

“The ventures that grow here are more than ideas; they are true growth engines that will be integrated into the company’s future systems,” Bar-lev said. IAI said its broader innovation network is intended to bring together industry, defense and venture-capital ecosystems while accelerating the adoption of new technologies.

The NYSE showcase gave the participating startups access to a wider U.S. business, investment and defense community while completing the fourth CATALYST cohort. For IAI, the program also provides a pathway to identify technologies that could be incorporated into future defense, aviation and space systems.
