All vehicles are to be produced at the La Spezia facilities owned by the Italian defence company Leonardo.

Additionally, the Italian Leopard 2A8IT tanks will be equipped with electronic systems supplied by the Iveco – Oto Melara Consortium (CIO).

In December 2023, Leonardo and KNDS signed an agreement regarding cooperation in the production of Leopard 2A8 tanks.
