Partnering with blackned GmbH, Rheinmetall demonstrated the use of 5G communication technology for seamless tactical communication, a key advancement in modern battlefield connectivity.
The company also showcased its expertise in UAV-based reconnaissance and engagement through live demonstrations. Utilising AI, targets were autonomously identified, and real-time data was transmitted to the TacNet battle management system, providing combat units with a unified situational awareness.
Among the systems attracting significant attention was the Boxer Skyranger 30, a mobile air defence platform designed to counter evolving aerial threats. Rheinmetall also presented its hybrid-powered Ermine quads and buggies, praised for their modularity and silent operational capabilities, alongside the highly mobile 120mm Ragnarok mortar system, which rounded out the company’s diverse display.
