Under this cooperation, the RQ-35 Heidrun drone will be integrated with Palantir’s software platform, enhancing data analysis and intelligence gathering across land, sea, and air, according to Sky-Watch’s social media announcement.
“The aim is to provide a comprehensive real-time operational picture, enhanced situational awareness, and data-driven insights – critical for modern warfare and operations,” Sky-Watch stated.
Sky-Watch’s RQ-35 Heidrun is a fully autonomous, fixed-wing, mini UAV designed for low-altitude reconnaissance and target acquisition. It is ideal for collecting immediate sensor data from any mission-critical area without exposing the drone operator to the danger of direct fire.
The RQ-35 Heidrun drones are operated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have employed these UAVs during the full-scale conflict. The drones were delivered to Ukraine and financed by the German government. According to the office of the German chancellor, Berlin has supplied Ukraine with 125 RQ-35 Heidrun drones so far.
