It achieved a significant success in connection with the Interoperable Robotic Convoy (InterRoC) project. In the European Land Robot Trial 2024 (ELROB) competition, the Rheinmetall InterRoc team consisting of the Research & Technology division of Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Canada Inc. won first place in the “Automated Convoy” category. Rheinmetall has been given the largest order in the company`s history concerning logistic vehicles by the Bundeswehr.

Rheinmetall has been contracted by the Swedish company BAE Systems Bofors AB to deliver 48 all-terrain HX Cab Chassis with protected cabins. The highly mobile 8x8 military vehicles from Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) will serve as carriers for the Swedish Armed Forces' Archer artillery systems. The contract, which was concluded in March 2024, has a volume of around €71 million. Deliveries are foreseen to start in the third quarter of 2024 and to be completed by the end of 2027.

Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles UK (RMMV UK) have been awarded a £282 million contract to deliver 500 HX 8×8 Palletised Load System (PLS) trucks to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Under a GBP 282 million contract, Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) will deliver 500 multipurpose trucks to the British Army. These vehicles will enable personnel to load flat racks onto the platform, which can carry essential logistics such as ammunition, food, water, and support material, to operational locations, UK Ministry of Defence saind in statement.

General Dynamics European Land Systems – Bridge Systems and Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles have presented for the first time the ANACONDA tactical bridge-laying system.

The German Bundeswehr has placed an order with Rheinmetall for 367 protected and unprotected logistic vehicles. This order is a further call-off from the frame-work contract for swap-body systems signed in June 2020. In addition to the vehicles, the order includes 1,830 swap-body platforms to serve as interchange-able load carriers. The call-off is worth around €285 million, including value added tax. Delivery of the vehicles is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2023.
