The award covers modernization, maintenance and repairs under a Selected Restricted Availability. BAE Systems will perform the work at Naval Base San Diego.

The contract falls within BAE Systems’ wider ship services business, which supports the Navy, other government agencies and commercial customers. Its work includes vessel repair, maintenance, modernization, conversion and overhaul.
BAE Systems operates full-service shipyards in California, Florida and Virginia. The facilities provide drydocks, shiplifts, railways, land-level work areas, pier space and related ship support services.
