The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract allows GMP to compete for individual delivery orders throughout the five-year term. Other companies selected for the contract will also compete for those orders.
The scope extends beyond the supply of equipment. It also includes program management, logistics support, testing and packaging requirements.

The selection builds on GMP’s work under a previous USSOCOM IDIQ contract. The company said that earlier agreement involved sourcing and delivering weapons and ammunition in response to changing operational requirements.
“This award also reflects our ability to perform under the previous USSOCOM IDIQ contract, where we excelled at sourcing and delivering weapons and ammunition while leveraging our global network and supply chain capabilities to respond to evolving operational requirements and support USSOCOM missions,” Gouveia said. GMP said its international supplier base and logistics operations support time-sensitive and complex procurements.
The company has supplied defense materiel to U.S. government, military and international customers. Its portfolio includes mortar systems, sniper rifles, assault rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, anti-armor weapons, ammunition, electro-optics and weapon accessories.
