Nomad is Babcock’s first fully AI-powered product and is intended to improve situational awareness by connecting intelligence, personnel and operations at the tactical edge. The platform is designed to provide actionable information directly to frontline users and support decision-making on and around the battlefield.
The system can clean, transcribe, translate and analyse enemy and target voice and text communications in real time. Babcock said this reduces reliance on linguists deployed in the field while allowing operators to understand hostile communications and build a clearer picture of a target’s position, movements and capabilities.
Nomad is designed to deliver these capabilities across operational domains and locations worldwide. The company said the platform provides immediate intelligence that can support on-the-spot operational advantage.

The company also demonstrated Nomad at the DVD event at UTAC Millbrook, where visitors were able to learn more about the platform. The demonstration showcased the system’s AI-enabled signal intelligence capabilities and its intended application to frontline military and security operations.
