After a year of rigorous testing and training following its delivery to the French Air Warfare Center, the Rafale F4.1 has achieved Initial Operational Capability (IOC), enabling it to perform key operations such as air policing.
The F4.1 upgrade introduces a host of sophisticated features to the Rafale, including improved satellite and intra-patrol links, a state-of-the-art communication server, and advanced software radio. Additionally, the integration of a helmet-mounted sight, the new AASM 1000 “Hammer” precision-guided bomb, and the TALIOS targeting pod significantly boosts the aircraft’s combat effectiveness.
The French Air and Space Force looks forward to achieving Full Operational Capability (FOC) with the Rafale F4.1, further solidifying our commitment to maintaining a formidable and technologically advanced air defence force.
